Terms of Use

What these terms cover

Using this community — browsing, joining, posting — means you accept these terms. The community is operated by Laurence Liew from Singapore.

Your account

One account per person, under a name you actually go by. You are responsible for activity on your account; keep your credentials to yourself (and your inbox secure — sign-in links go there). I may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms.

How to behave here

  • Be respectful. Disagree with ideas, not people. Harassment, hate speech, and personal attacks are removed.
  • No spam, advertising, referral links, or undisclosed promotion.
  • Nothing illegal, no malware, no scraping or automated bulk access.
  • Stay on the community’s purpose: AI readiness, learning, and helping each other.

Moderation

This is a moderated community. A member’s first posts are reviewed before they appear, members can report content, and I may edit or remove posts and comments, or suspend accounts, when these terms are broken. Moderation calls are mine and I make them in good faith.

Your content and mine

You keep the copyright to what you post. By posting, you grant me a non-exclusive licence to host and display it within this community. Everything else on the site is © Laurence Liew unless marked otherwise (some materials are CC BY 4.0). If you delete your account, your posts are deleted or anonymised at your request.

Embedded third-party content

Posts may embed third-party content such as YouTube videos. Once you interact with those, that provider’s terms apply.

No professional advice

Community content is peer discussion and general education, not legal, financial, or professional advice. AI tools change fast; use judgement and qualified advisers for decisions that matter.

Availability and liability

The community is provided free, as-is, on a best-effort basis. To the extent law allows, liability is capped at what you paid — for a free service, that is zero. Nothing here excludes liability that Singapore or EU consumer law does not permit excluding.

These terms may be revised; the date above updates and the live page governs. Singapore law governs.
